HOW TO FIND A CERTIFIED SISTERLOCKS CONSULTANT Below is the complete list of current, active Certified Sisterlocks Consultants.  We recommend our Certified people first because they have pledged to uphold our high standards and represent Sisterlocks in the most professional way possible. Interview your prospective Consultant thoroughly to ensure that they offer Sisterlocks according to the tested and tried, standardized methods they were  taught. Your Sisterlocks Consultant should offer Sisterlocks as a Package of 3 visits.  The Package price should include all three visits: 1. A thorough Consultation where your Consultant will: Gather information from you about your hair care history; Share information with you about the care and maintenance of Sisterlocks, including information on shampooing, the Sisterlocks product line, the settling-in phase of your locks, your re-tightening needs and pricing; Put a number of Sample Locks in your hair. These test locks will be monitored between the time of your consultation and your locking session so that your consultant can be sure to use the best possible locking patterns and sizes on your hair. 2. Your initial Locking Session where your Consultant will do the entire Sisterlocks procedure. (Some consultants schedule two shorter sessions for this.) 3. Your first "Follow-up Session" which is your first check-in and minor re-tightening after 2-3 shampooings. (This should be included in your Package Price.) Sisterlocks certification is your assurance that an individual has not only been properly trained in our techniques, but has gone on to demonstrate their proficiency in several important areas like, proper lock sizing, adequate consultations, long-term maintenance, and more.
